The Point Association’s Charitable Fund

This year, the Point Association invites our members to support the Point Association’s Charitable Fund, which was established several years ago to give back to the organizations that help make our neighborhood special.

This year, we’re asking for your help to grow that impact. Our goal for the 2026 campaign is to raise the Fund’s balance to $15,000, allowing us to continue supporting 501(c)(3) nonprofits that contribute to the quality of life here on the Point.

In the past,  among others contributions have supported Rose Island Lighthouse, Newport Gulls, Newport Historical Society, Newport Restoration Foundation and Save The Bay.

The Fund is overseen by the Point Association’s Charitable Fund Committee: Deborah Arnold, Joy Scott, and Bill Hogan.

How to give:

  • Online: Visit thepointassociation.org to give securely by clicking on the Charitable Fund hyperlink.
  • By mail: Make checks payable to Point Association Charitable Fund  and send to:

Every gift, large or small, helps us continue supporting the organizations that make the Point a wonderful place to live.

This year the Point Association is also offering our members the opportunity to donate to the Point Association’s “Charitable Fund” which was established years ago with a small balance. Current efforts are underway, through its Charitable Fund Committee, to increase the fund’s balance in order to donate to those non-profits that have made beneficial contributions to the quality of life of the Point neighborhood and its residents.

Recent contributions from the Fund include Rose Island Light House, Newport Gulls, Newport Historical Society and Save the Bay.
